REFLECTIONS

What a wonderful group gathered yesterday at St. Martins for my Brunch and Wisdom event. I spoke on the topic of how to create the life you really want and decided this morning to share the following piece with you to hopefully inspire you to embrace the important skills that help manifest all that you desire and deserve.

The Power of Intention: Reflections
After reading The Power of Intention, How to Co-create Your World Your Way by Dr. Wayne Dyer several years ago, my life became even more fulfilling and miraculous just as it had become after I read You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L Hay 25 years ago. If you have not yet read it, I highly suggest that you do for no one describes better than Dr. Dyer this incredible force called Intention.

I begin to use the words, “I intend to …” as I set goals and faced life’s challenges. What I quickly noticed was how my mind and body responded to the words “I intend”. I was focused and calm as I continued working from intent, and very aware of my actions.

By using the words “I intend to” …., I created a compass to assist me in making decisions. I would not choose an action, an activity, a person, a job that was off course from my intention.

If I intended to be at peace each day regardless of what occurred, that automatically ruled out getting irritated at the disrespectful driver I encounter in traffic.

It was so much easier for me to honor my intentions than to accomplish a simple goal. I am not sure why. All I can tell you is it feels more powerful, more forceful.

There is a very powerful force behind Intention. If we will but allow it to surface, you will experience as have I the serenity, joy, loving and grateful spirit that is the result of getting our egos out of the way and honoring Who We Really Are.

If you are interested in the writings of Dr. Wayne Dyer simply go to Hayhouse.com and you will find all of his work as well as that of Louise Hay.

Stay Well, All

Namaste, Molly
