Change Your Thoughts and Change Your Life

Last night I presented the topic Wisdom is Avoiding all Thoughts That Weaken You at my Wine and Wisdom event. As we sat in the lovely private intimate dining room at St. Martin's on upper Greenville I was so touched by the openness and the enthusiasm of the participants as we discussed this important concept. I would like to share with you, the reader, some information that I shared last night that I hope encourages you to Use Your Mind in more productive ways.
THOUGHTS THAT WEAKEN YOU:
Shame produces humiliation
Guilt and Apathy produce emotions of blame and despair
Fear and Anger produce an atmosphere of tension and weakness

THOUGHTS THAT STRENGTHEN YOU:
The most empowering thoughts you can have are those of Peace, Love, Joy, Acceptance, and Willingness.

Negative, self critical, fearful thoughts make us anxious, depressed and erodes our self esteem and personal power.

What you are thinking about as you fall asleep at night will marinate in your subconscious so be mindful of what you are thinking. I recommend to clients that they fall asleep with thoughts of gratitude. You will wake up with a positive and rested spirit.

Remember you are in control of your thoughts so become aware of what you are saying to yourself for you are creating negative of positive energy within your body.

The Body is The Battlefield for the Warfare in Our Minds!
It is only a thought, and a thought can be changed.

Namaste
