WHAT IS LIFE COACHING?

Each day, someone reading my blog or facebook page asks 2 things: Are you still seeing clients since you are no longer a "therapist"? and what exactly is life coaching? Although I no longer work as a therapist, those skills are still an integral part of my Life Coaching work. Yes, I work with couples, individuals, groups, and a variety of small businesses that hire me to help employees practice wellness and stress management skills. I work with clients going through life transitions or dealing with self esteem and personal power issues. I specialize in wellness, self love, anxiety and stress management. My passion and purpose is to help others live healthier, more joyful and productive lives. I try to make it affordable, accessible, and more manageable to grow and to change in order  to improve the quality of life, relationships, and the world of work.
I also offer ongoing "Wisdom Events" that are affordable and fun.  Below read more information about life coaching. Stay joyful. Stay grateful, Stay well.  Molly

Life Coaching is a partnership that helps clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Through the coaching process, clients develop goals, overcome obstacles which have hindered them in the past, and feel more organized and capable of pursuing goals in the future. Coaching assists in defining goals, provides structure, provides a map and direction, provides support, gives encouragement and monitors and validates -progress. Like a sports coach or a personal trainer, a personal coach provides an unbiased outside eye to help you see things more clearly, applies techniques, shares her expertise and life experiences and cheers you on. The synergy of coaching- the creativity of two or more minds working together is incredibly empowering.
Molly provides individual couple, group life coaching at fees that work for your budget and accommodates your busy life and work schedules. She can meet you at your office, home, favorite coffee bar, lunch or after work hangout or in the privacy of her office at times that work for you during the week or on weekends. Phone consultations are also arranged as the coaching relationship grows.
How is Coaching Different from Therapy?  Therapy is generally more concerned with the clients past working through trauma, blocks, earlier experiences, etc; whereas coaching is generally more concerned with the present and future setting clear goals and going about attaining them. The therapist assists clients therapeutically by helping to develop insight into internal blocks and to overcome them. The Life Coach assists clients motivationally to overcome blocks and in setting and achieving goals and changing unhealthy or unproductive patterns.
