DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FORGIVE

When driving home yesterday, I passed a sign in front of a church that said "Do yourself a favor and forgive." Oh so true that is, and yet many people resist or simply refuse to forgive. The interesting thing is that we are quick to want to be forgiven when we act in ways we are not proud of, when we "screw up", but not so quick to forgive when some harm has been done to us. Why would we resist doing the one thing that truly sets us free and is a key to living a joyful and healthy life?  I read somewhere many years ago that "acid eats the container that carries it" and that was pretty much all I needed to motivate me to let go, to release all negative energy, to forgive. I began to understand that forgiveness opens the door to change and to evolving. It allows negative energy to transform into positive energy. It is the loving thing to do for ourselves. If you are committed to living a life of wellness, you must choose to not only exercise and eat well, but to constructively manage your emotions and to understand how to heal from within.
Wisdom is letting go of all thoughts, beliefs, attitudes that weaken you.
On Sunday, September 7th, I will be addressing these concepts at my Brunch and Wisdom event from 12:30-2:00 at St. Martins Wine Bistro.  Call now, 214-826-0940, and tell them to reserve your space at Molly's Event. For more information email me at Mollybwell@yahoo.com  Stay well!
