LISTEN TO THE VOICE WITHIN

One of the greatest gifts we have is intuition and the ability to feel, and yet it seems for some reason difficult for my clients to trust that inner voice. Our feelings are a great teacher for us if we will but listen. Part of my meditation/reflection time each morning includes reading from Meditations from Conversations with God which is somewhat like a study guide for Donald Walsch's earlier book, Conversations with God. It invites you to focus on a passage from the book for a day and apply it to your life. Today's passage was from page 3 of CWG and says "If you want to know what is true for you about something, look to how you're feeling about it. Feelings are sometimes difficult to discover-and often even more difficult to acknowledge. Yet hidden in your deepest feelings is your highest truth." I then turned to the full page in CWG and found that this passage was about God's answer to Walsch when he wondered if God talked to everyone. God's response in the book is "I talk to everyone. All the time. The question is not to whom do I talk, but who listens. Feeling is the language of the Soul."
I invite you to, when making major decisions in your life, go within and make choices based on what your "gut" is telling you. Our culture tends to let our mind become the tool in which to make decisions instead of our intuitive self and the result is so very often not what we had hoped. How often have you said "I knew I shouldn't have....." If something just doesn't feel right to you, listen to that voice within and trust it even if you don't have mental "data" to back that up or really know why it doesn't feel right. Listening to that voice within is not only smart for you to do, it is wise!
